I started this blog as a way to share my travels with the people who weren't coming with me. I only write on it when I travel.
The first trip I blogged through was a trip by myself in January 2012.
In June and July of 2012, my daughter and I took an awesome trip across the country.
The posts from that trip are pretty different from the first trip's post - I committed myself to writing more (although I kind of hate a lot of the prose).
Next year we're gonna take another awesome trip, only next summer's blog is going to be awesome too.Better pictures, better format... maybe even better writing (ok, pushing my luck there).
And there's going to be an about section that actually talks about... me.
Because there are background things about me and/or Kiddo that would help explain stuff to someone who doesn't know me. And with a more awesome and more visible blog, there might be more readers.
Talking about myself on the internet is kind of scary. I've always liked to hold on to the illusion of privacy.
I also probably need to either get people's permissions to use their names... or come up with stupid nicknames for people. Who wants to be Three Bean Steve?
